i had an hsg done in nov last year and it was a bit painfull i would recommend taking some strong pain killers before hand.. i had 4 rounds of clomid at 50mg previous to the hsg.. found out we were pregnant in dec im sure the hsg helped.. unfortunatly we lost our baby end of febuary 2009.. were now back on clomid at 100mg... wishing you lots of luck xx |

Hi i'm also new to this. I was only on clomid for one cycle as it didn't work for me, instead she has given me Tamoxifen which is making me ovulate. I am now on my 3rd cycle and nothing has happened.\r\n\r\nIs HSG when they see if your tubes are blocked and where they insert dye. If that is what its called then yes i have had it done and it wasn't pleasant but thankfully was over quick. \r\n\r\nI have been told acupuncture is supposed to be good and am considering having that done but need more info first.\r\n\r\nGood luck |

It wasn't as bad as I expected. There was some pressure and cramping, but nothing too bad. I got pregnant the month after, but misscarried a week after finding out. Now, my gynocologist has referred me to a reproductive clinic. I've had thyroid issues in the past and I'm thinking that may be the problem. I've already done the clomid for 6 months and was on it when I got pregnant last month. |
