well i had my hsg done monday (1st of october). found out my cervix was blocked and they unblocked and it and everything seemed to be fine until last yesterday morning i started having some heavy bleeding and cramping and i called the dr and she said to wait until today and see if it will stop on its own.. well i woke up this morning and i had bled through my pad (sorry if TMI) so i called my dr back and she had me come in right away and she did a pap and ultrasound and could not see where the bleeding was coming from so she said she wanted to go over my chart and she would call me tomorrow and let me know what she thinks i should do unless the bleeding stops on its own before she calls. the bleeding has since got alot lighter!! so anyways as far as the hsg goes it was not bad just a little cramping and spotting right after and i was so excited when i left b/c the dr said i would most likely be pregnant w/in 2 months! we have been ttc for 22 months this month. how long has everyone else been ttc?

Is this the same as Levovist where they put a fluid in the tubes to see if they are open? I'm going to have myn done on Tuesday and am a little worried.\r\n\r\nOne of the girls at work said she fell pregnant the month after she had hers done. Don't want to get excited but who knows it may be right!

I have done too or called hycosy and thank God result is nothing's wrong with my fallopian tubes and uterus and surrounding area except for mild PCOS. They have to do hsg so before going any further test, they have to do it first. I was prescribed Clomid after all the test and steps. My husband's sperm is okay too. He was the first who had a test. I knew it was probably me because I have irregular period of 33-40days cycle, possible annovulatory. CLomid forced me to ovulate every single month at least. I hope this helps.

You are right mommaof2, there's a possibility of getting pregnant too [if there's nothing wrong] after hsg because it cleans your fallopian tubes. One patient they have fell pregnant after a month of the test. =)

Hi everyone, new to this so wanted to share experiences and learn things if i can. Had my HSG done Tuesday and it really wasnt as bad as i had thought it would be,just felt a little bit of pressure in my lower tummy. Anyway my tubes are fine and not blocked, just wondering what the next step is really in terms of speaking to Drs etc, the radiographer said to ring up in a weeks time once they had written up the notes etc. what steps did you guys take?\r\nthanks

Hi Everyone! Iam a newbie here. I have to go through HSG in a month or so. I have turned it down once as I am terrified of going through it. I have a fear of needles and so on. It was bit relieving to hear from some of you that its not so bad after all. Maybe I will get pregnant straight after too (Hoping). I am 35 and all my tests have come back normal. They cannot understand what is stopping me from conceiving and are considering IVF after the HSG results. I wish you all the best of luck in conceiving.
