Stress Prevents Pregnancy
Studies have discovered that the body produces a chemical called alpha-amylase when stressed which in turn prevents the body from getting pregnant. This especially causes complications for women undergoing stressful fertility treatments. Doctors warn these women that they must find a way to get their stress levels down in order to achieve pregnancy. The human body responds to stress by going into “danger” mode and therefore prevents pregnancy until a safer and more relaxed time.
