Im 21 years old and having to go through infertility treatments because i have not be able to concieve. Me and my husband have both been tested and it seems that everything is fine. HSG was normal, sperm count was normal, and we have learned that I can produce eggs. \r\n\r\nin may I started my first treament, now I know that it all just doesn't work with the snap of the fingers. But I had to take meds to even start my cycle, I bleed for a week , started my clomid (50mg) from day 3 to day 7 and got an ultrasound on cycle day 12 and my follice was on my right side, only one follice, and 14mm, they informed me that they like to see a follicle be about 19 mm to 22 mm. I went in again on day 14 for another ultrasound and it was 17mm and I was starting to ovulate. The doctors told me to go home with my husband and have intercourse, so we did. For the next couple days I was feeling shitty and I was gassy. Within 3 to 4 days after all this had happened i started cramping really bad and bleeding heavily and it also had piece of tissue in it. I know that I was miscarriging because a women can tell. \r\n\r\nJune I didn't bleed, so I called them and they had me come in a do a HcG test, which as we know came out negitive. They again gave me the meds to start my cycle again. Again with the clomid (50mg). I went to the doctors today, 30July, and got my ultrasound and my follice this time was again on the right side, only one follice, and 15mm on cycle day 13. They can't get me in on Friday to check and see if my follice has grown in the next couple days. So instead I have to buy a ovulation kit and watch it from today 30July and so forth. I have to go into the doctors on Friday though to get a HcG shot to help realse my egg. So Im actually going to make it to my shot. Im scared because Im afraid that again Im going to ovulate again when my follice is not the right size.\r\n\r\nDoes anyone know if 15mm is a good size for Cycle day 13?\r\n\r\nThe doctors did tell me that a follice will grow 2mm a day, but as has happened before I ovulated way before my follice was a decent size.... Can anyone give me any answers?\r\n\r\n\r\nThanks!!!\r\n\r\nKristin

Hey, Its nice to know that there are other people in the same boat! I got my shot on friday, 8/1, and I had a positive ovulation test on sunday 8/3 so hopefully all goes well. I hope that everything goes good with your treatment! Don't give up! There are many people in this world that have kids everyday and they really don't deserve them. I know that it hurts me and my husband, and Im sure it does the same to your guys too! But don't give up. Tell your doctors that there has to be something wrong. The only thing that they probably can't tell you is that maybe your egg isn't right or something and thats why nothing is happening. And the only way for them to tell you that is by removing a egg and doing test on it. But I wish you two the best of luck! We have our fingers crossed!

Hi, I have a few questions but let me tell my story in case it makes a difference. 5 years ago I ended up pregnant for the first time. I did have a lot of bleeding at first but that was taken care of and I made it up to 22 weeks which is when I got hospitalized for beginnings of pre-clampsia. They wanted to deliver my little boy the very first night and even though they kept telling me I could end up having a stroke (as a stubborn Leo that I am ) I was determined or just not ready to give my baby up. I lasted 4 weeks until my water broke and I had my baby at 26 weeks. He did not make it. Since then 3 years ago I ended up pregnant and it was leading towards a miscarriage so they decided to do a D&C cause they thought it could be an ectopic pregnancy. After that I needed some time to get my emotions together so my husband and I started officially trying like 14 months ago. On August 1, 2008 I had laparoscopy done, I was HORRIFIED thinking I was going to hear that something was wrong. I got it done cause they thought my tubes were blocked and it actually turned out that the blockage was just a little mucus. The minute they went in the pressure flushed everything out, everything looks perfect according to the dr. \r\nHas anyone heard of success stories after laparscopy? \r\nAlso what do you girls mean by the follice needing to be a certain size? \r\n\r\nI do a lot of studying on the fertility subject and I have to say I am completely clueless as to what u girls are referring to. \r\n\r\nI would love to hear your opinions and knowledge. \r\n\r\nBest wishes to both and pray for me too. \r\n\r\nThanks Marilyn
